To keep your gold jewelry looking its best, clean it gently with warm water and diluted mild soap. Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dirt, avoiding abrasive materials that could cause uneven scratches. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft cloth. Over time, you may notice a slight darkening or smudging near connection points—this is natural and can be easily wiped away using the method above. Avoid over-polishing to allow your jewelry to develop a unique, natural patina that reflects its wear and history.
Silver naturally oxidizes over time, leading to a darker patina. To maintain its shine, clean it regularly with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a silver polishing cloth or a baking soda and water paste, but avoid chemical cleaners that may strip the finish. Silver beads and chains may darken faster when exposed to moisture, sweat, or certain chemicals—store them in a dry place when not in use. Like gold, over-polishing is not recommended, as the organic aging process adds character to each piece.
